Sub: Donate grocery kits containing essential food items worth Rs 600 to daily wage workers and poor families through the NITK Consumers' Co-operative Society - Reg Share

Dear Esteemed Alumni of NITK / KREC,

As part of an initiative to help the needy during the COVID-19 lockdown, the employees of NITK Surathkal have come forward to donate grocery kits containing essential food items worth Rs 600 to daily wage workers and low-income families through the NITK Consumers' Co-operative Society. This donation process will conclude latest by 25th April 2020.

More than 200 grocery kits have been currently made ready for distribution. The proposed grocery kit contains the following items.  
1.Rice - 5 Kg, 2. Dal - 1 Kg, 3. Chilly powder - 100 gm, 4. Jaggery - 1 Kg, 5. Garlic - 100 gm, 6. Turmeric - 100 gm, 7. Atta - 1 Kg, 
8. Soji - 1 Kg.
