Annual Meet of NITK (KREC) Alumni Belgaum chapter |

The annual meet of the Belgaum chapter was held on 15th March, 2009 and was attended by around 100 alumni, with their family. The function was very special this time, as there were representatives from the alma-mater participating in the meet. Another highlight of the event was the announcement of Golden Jubilee celebrations at NITK from August 2009 to August 2010. Alumni from places like Poona, Mysore,Davangere had also come.

The students of NITK have made us proud by their fantastic achievement at the National level competition for the innovative product “Deployable low cost outdoor surveillance system”, being conducted by DRDO Golden Jubilee student Competition.

SAE India BAJA – the national level competition has been very special to NITK because NITK students have already been overall first runner –up in the first ever competition held at Pithampur, Indore in December 2007.
