1969 - Electronics & Electrical Engineering
Air Marshal Chengappa was honoured with the Ati Vishist Seva Medal in 2004, the Vishist Seva Medal in 2006, and the Param Vishist Seva Medal in 2007. He served as the Air Officer-in-Charge Maintenance at Air Headquarters and was trained on the Mi-25 gunship, which he helped pioneer for induction into the Indian Air Force. Additionally, he holds the rare distinction of commanding a Guided Weapon Training Institute as a Wing Commander, a Fighter Aircraft TETTRA School as a Group Captain, and a premier Systems Base Repair Depot as an Air Commodore.

The recipient of the Padma Shri Award in 2012, Sri. Ullas Karanth also been honoured with the J. Paul Getty Award for Conservation Leadership. A renowned conservation zoologist and leading tiger expert, he has made significant contributions to wildlife conservation. He served as the former Director of the Wildlife Conservation Society's India Programme and as a Senior Conservation Scientist with the New York-based Wildlife Conservation Society (WCS). Notably, he pioneered the scientific use of camera traps in population density studies of large wild mammals in India, making a lasting impact on the field of wildlife conservation.

The recipient of the Padma Bhushan Award in 2008 for his contributions to Trade and Industry, Sri. K V Kamath has held several prominent positions, including President of the New Development Bank of BRICS countries, Chairman of Infosys Ltd., and Non-Executive Chairman of ICICI Bank Ltd. He has also served as a board member for prestigious institutions such as IIM Ahmedabad, ISB, and the National Institute of Bank Management, among others. Throughout his career, he has received numerous accolades, including the Most e-Savvy CEO amongst Asian Banks, Finance Man of the Year Award, Best CEO for Innovative HR Practices, Asian Business Leader of the Year 2001, Outstanding Business Leader of the Year 2006, Businessman of the Year 2005, and the Business Leader Award of the Year 2007.

The Managing Director of Nandi Infrastructure Corridor Enterprises (NICE) and a former MLA, Sri. Ashok Kheny had a multifaceted career spanning various fields, including business, film, and politics. He is a renowned film director, actor, producer, and the owner of the Karnataka Bulldozers cricket team. Additionally, he serves as the Chairman of the Indian Institute of Cartoonists. He previously represented the Bidar South constituency in the Vidhan Sabha as an MLA.

The Chairman and CEO of Aequs, Sri. Arvind Melligeri is also the board member and founder of QuEST Global, a globally recognized provider of outsourced engineering services. He holds a Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Pennsylvania State University. He serves as a Director at Aequs Private Limited, which is currently developing a 400-acre toy manufacturing cluster in Koppal, Karnataka, with an investment of $500 million to promote domestic manufacturing. Aequs operates two units in its Belagavi SEZ, contributing significantly to the region's industrial development.

Rajeev Madhavan is a distinguished entrepreneur and venture capitalist based in the USA. He is the co-founder and Managing Director of Clear Ventures, a venture capital firm that invests in early-stage startups in the technology sector, focusing on innovative companies in areas like artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, and enterprise software. Rajeev has a strong track record of nurturing and scaling tech startups, leveraging his deep expertise in engineering and business strategy. Prior to founding Clear Ventures, Rajeev was the co-founder and CEO of Magma Design Automation, a leading provider of electronic design automation software, which was acquired by Synopsys in 2012.

Dr. Ajay Prabhu is the President of Technology Services at Quest Global, and is responsible for the company's technology infrastructure aligns with industry needs. He also chairs the NASSCOM Engineering R&D Council, with a vision to create a $100B ER&D industry by 2025. Ajay played a pivotal role in expanding Quest Global into the aero structures domain. He holds a Bachelor's in Electronics and Communication Engineering from NITK, Surathkal, and MS and PhD degrees from the University of Massachusetts. His research on high-frequency amplifiers earned recognition from IEEE and the Microwave Society Fellowship, and he holds two US Patents.

Dr. Hirebettu Sadanand Kamath, a recipient of the Padma Shri in 2002 for his contributions to Science & Engineering, is the former Chief Executive of the Heavy Water Board. He has made significant contributions to India's nuclear energy programme, particularly in heavy water production. He is currently serving as a Non-Executive Independent Director at Nikhil Adhesives Ltd. and is also the author of the book, "Heavy Water Quest: The Inspiring Journey of a Nuclear Engineer from a Remote Village to Receiving the Prestigious Padma Shri Award". His leadership and achievements have earned him widespread recognition in the industry.
