Voice and Image-based Intelligent Assistant for managing  Electronic Health Records at Health Care Center, NITK Share

The Indian government is facing severe challenges in its efforts to adopt an electronic health records (EHR) system. EHR is a comprehensive digital database of patient's medical records that can be accessed by doctors and hospitals. Doctors and clinicians are not ready to spend long hours in front of computers, inputting, updating, and managing EHRs. We want to propose Artificial Intelligence (AI) based assistance that can turn basic EHR into 'Smart EHR', through Machine Learning (ML) and voice recognition technologies.  We want to develop this Voice and Image-based Intelligent Assistant for managing Electronic Health Records at Health Care Center, NITK. As the next frontier in human-technology interfaces, voice-enabled and voice-first technologies are leading the way in many innovative applications across health care industries.
